Fahey is the cop (naturally) trying to stop the mortician. Co-starring (and showing Fahey the ropes) is scream queen Tiffany Shepis (of Dorm of the Dead, by the way. Writer/director Rolfe Kanefsky has a lengthy string of genre credits (though I don’t know that his experience helming, say, The Erotic Misadventures of the Invisible Man (2003) is much help here). Warning: The trailer gives away the final scene. Niiiiice. No extras, but for $7.99 at Amazon.com, you really didn’t expect any, did you? Filed under: DVD Comments: None |

I’d embed the YouTube trailer here, but it’s a wee bit NSFW (you know what those kids do in those dorms), so I’ll just send you there instead. Filed under: DVD Comments: None |

if the name of writer/producer/director/star Steve Barkett means nothing to you, here’s a credit that might clue you in: “Co-produced by Ted V. Mikels.” No extras, $9.99 at Amazon.com. Filed under: DVD Comments: None |

“BRAINS!!!!” Here’s what the new widescreen disc includes: - Cast, crew and undead commentary That last bears some explanation. Basically, any time the zombies are on screen and not saying anything, little “pop-up” captions appear on the bottom of the screen, telling you what’s on their minds. Yes, they do think about things other than (or in addition to) brains. Filed under: DVD Comments: None |

Where, I ask you, would cheap horror cinema be without secluded family cabins?
I’d like to welcome direct-to-video favorite Jeff Fahey to the realm of zombie movies.
So
You may know it as Vengeance of the Zombies or Revolt of the Dead Ones or The Rebellion of the Dead Women; you may even know it under its original title, La Rebelión de las Muertas. Whatever you call it, the Spanish horror film written by and starring Paul Naschy and directed by Leon Klaminsky has a new DVD release from Televista/Music Video Distributors.
Let’s be honest: This isn’t really a zombie movie. But post-apocalyptic mutants don’t market themselves well these days, so a little change of label is in order since you first saw this one video twenty-five years ago, titled simple Aftermath.
If this horror/black comedy classic isn’t already in your collection, MGM has released a Collector’s Edition to fill that gap. I shouldn’t have to describe the movie itself in any more detail than this one word:
